Night to Shine - Volunteer Registration

Night to Shine is an unforgettable worldwide celebration event, centered on God's love, honoring and valuing people with special needs. This event is hosted each year on the Friday before Valentine’s Day by churches across the globe, bringing congregations, communities, and families living with disability closer together in fellowship.

Vibrant Church is excited to announce that we will be hosting Night to Shine this year!
This registration page is specifically for volunteers. It takes more than MANY volunteers to make Night to Shine a success, and we cannot do it without you! If you've never volunteered at Night to Shine before, Please visit the Night-to-Shine website to see what all the fun entails! 

Please “Register Now” and sign-up to volunteer! You do not need to attend Vibrant Church to volunteer. Upon registration, we will need your contact information to effectively communicate with you. Please note we value your information and do not solicit or subscribe you to anything.

Here are the opportunities we need help with:

Write personalized cards based on the guest list and spares in case  of drop out and last minute registrations. Each guest will receive a gift at the end of the night. These cards will go with the gifts. 

Assembly of the gift bags that are given to each guest at the end of the evening. 

Needed Wednesday Feb 11th from 1:00pm-5:00pm
Come join us turn our church building into an unforgettable experience for our honored guests. With the flexibility of this position, timing information will be coming your way. Some heavy lifting may be involved. 

Do you have a knack for making things pretty? Come join us on February 12th or 13th (or both!) to turn our church building into an unforgettable experience for our honored guests. With the flexibility of this position, timing information will be coming your way!   

Needed at the Event at 4:00pm. Serving food from 7:00pm-9:00pm. 
On the food service team, you will be involved with the preparation of food and attending to food stations for our guests and buddies! 

Needed at the Event at 5:00pm-7:00pm.
Cheer and welcome our guests upon arrival and direct them towards the check-in host inside the church building. 

Needed at the Event at 5:00pm-7:00pm. 
Upon guest arrival, check their name off the guest list and direct them and their buddies where to go next. 

Needed at the Event at 5:00pm-7:00pm. 
Guide guests to each station (hair, makeup, etc.) and make sure they know where to go next. 

Needed at the Event at 5:00pm-7:00pm. 
Help guests and buddies in and out of the limos. 

Needed at the Event at 5:00pm-7:00pm.
Assist guests with elevator operation and getting in and out of the elevator.

Needed at the Event at 5:00pm-7:15pm.
Cheer in guests upon arrival down the red carpet. Come ready to shout, clap, and encourage guests as they enter the party of the year!

Needed at the Event at 5:00pm-9:00pm. 
Buddies are our largest volunteer need; accompany and assist an assigned guest throughout the evening. Get ready to dance, dance, dance! the night way, laugh, and bring an evening of joy and excitement! 

Needed at the Event at 4:00pm-7:00pm.
This team shines shoes, curls hair and does make up. More details to come soon!

Needed at the Event at 5:00pm-9:30pm.
During the evening, you will be helping guests, caregivers, and buddies with their coats and boots upon arrival and departure!

Needed at the Event at 5:00pm-9:00pm.
Spend time with guests who may have become over-stimulated on the dance floor. Interact with them by coloring, building Legos, or other quiet activities and allow them to have some down time.

Spend time restocking the food table and attending to parents and caregivers of guests. 

Needed at the Event at 5:00pm-9:30pm.
Do you like to point people in the right direction? As part of the traffic team, you will assist with traffic flow and parking. 

Needed at the Event at 7:00pm-9:30pm.
As a dishwashing crew member, you will be behind the scenes helping our food service team by cleaning and drying dishes as food runners clean and restock the food and beverages. 

Needed at the Event at 7:00pm-10:00pm.
As you know, this is such an important part of the Night to Shine evening! With using the church building, we must ensure that things are cleaned up and put away so that the regular church events can continue. 

Meeting Saturday February 14th at 10:00am. 
Help reset the building before church the next day and pick up anything left over from the night before.
